With such programs, the affiliate is compensated for purchases made by returning customers for as long as they choose to do business with the merchant, provided they initially landed on the merchant's site due to the efforts of the affiliate.
With the vast array of options that are available within the world of affiliate marketing, it is easy to see why it has become popular with so many Internet marketers. The amount of income one can generate, however, depends on a variety of factors, including his or her level of personal dedication. As with any business, affiliate marketers must invest a reasonable amount of time and effort to their endeavors in order to realize success.
