Paladin Leveling Guide and Talent Leveling Build

Paladin Leveling Guide
Since the expansion of the Wrath of The Lich King and Cataclysm, the Paladin has received some really good boosts as well as their damage tree being greatly improved upon. In the following post we'll take a look at which talents are best suited for leveling up.
To kick-start your Paladin leveling build, you'll want to start with the Retribution tree, you want to take every single Retribution talent apart from Divine Purpose and Deflection. The exception to the rule here is that if you often play with someone else then you may want to take Divine Purpose.
Paladin Leveling Build For The Holy Talent Tree
The Holy talent build is a decent build for leveling as you can complete solo quests and also participate in Dungeons as a healer for better gear and much more XP. This is a hybrid build, although primarily a Holy build and fairly straight forward.
There are 3 Holy talents which can be left out of this build which are Last Word, Infusion of Light and Speed of Light.
Firstly you'll be using the Judgements of the Pure which is going to increase your casting and melee haste by 9% for 1 minute and your mana regeneration from spirit while in combat by 30%. Then you can take the Arbiter of the Light ability and then skip Protector of the Innocent for now to move down the talent tree.
Now you'll be able to take Blazing Run which will increase the damage of your Holy Shock and Exorcism by 20% (sweet). Then you'll want to take Clarity of Purpose and skip Last word to move down the talent tree.
Divine Favor is another great ability that's god for leveling and you'll definitely want to take that for the improved spell casting haste and spell critical chance. Then you can take the Daybreak and Denounce abilities and then move down the talent tree.
The first ability to snatch here is the Beacon of Light ability which is nice for leveling. Then you'll want to take Enlightened Judgements and Sacred Cleansing, now you'll want to back track and assign one talent point to the Protector of the Innocent ability so that you can move down the talent tree again.
Now you can take the Aura Mastery ability followed by the Paragon of Virtue and Conviction.
The Paragon of Virtue ability this is going to reduce the cooldown of Divine Protection by 30 seconds, Hand of Sacrifice by 30 seconds and Avenging Wrath by 60 seconds. This is great talent for speeding up and is best to take it before the Conviction ability.
Now you can simply take Blessed Life and Tower of Radiance before claiming the Light of Dawn ability. That's a decent build so far with nice healing capabilities and high survivability, to improve the Paladins damage output and range I would switch to the Retribution tree and take the Crusade and Improved Judgement abilities before moving down the tree and taking the Pursuit of Justice ability.
To complete the Holy Paladin leveling guide I would switch to the Protection tree and take the Seals of the Pure ability as this will further increase the Paladins damage dealt by Increasing the damage done by the Seal of Truth, Seal of Justice and Seal of Righteousness abilities by 6%. That completes a nice leveling build for the Holy Paladin.
Paladin Leveling Build For The Protection Talent Tree
The Protection leveling build is definitely the better choice of the two specs. There's so much flexibility and it provides the highest survivability over the other build.
You'll want to strengthen your Paladin character first so I would take Seals of the Pure straight away and assign both talent points. For this particular build I only assigned 2/3 talent points to Divinity.
Improved Hammer of Justice is an ability you'll want to take as soon as it becomes available along with Hallowed Ground. Hammer of the Righteous and Shield of the Righteous are a must anyway and you'll then want to make sure you take Vindication to enhance your Hammer of the Righteous as well as your Crusader Strike.
It's also worth noting for this Paladin leveling guide that the Retribution tree has some nice abilities which make for a perfect hybrid mix and a nice leveling build.
The Crusade ability will increase the damage of your Crusader Strike, Hammer of the Righteous and Templar's Verdict 30% and the damage and healing of your Holy Shock by 30% so I would definitely assign all 3 talent point builds here.
You can also take the Improved Judgement which will allow you to use judgements more and increase your damage output and then to finish up you'll want to take the Pursuit of Justice ability.
