Orna Lalo Treasures - The Four Seasons Jewelry Collection

Fall, winter, spring, and summer. The endless cycle of the seasons is the source of much delight. In the fall, we experience the splendor of leaves changing from green, to burnished orange and finally to brown. The cool winds add pleasure to evening strolls. In the winter, we sit at home curled up with a blanket and hot chocolate, watching the white snow fall; later we build snowmen, make snow angles, and have snowball fights. In the spring, we take respite in the warm air which defrosts the ice left over by winter, and make way for new life in the form of flower buds, saplings and bunny rabbits. Finally in the summer, we walk along the white beaches, hand-in-hand, drink fruity beverages, and dip our overheated bodies in the cooling waters of the blue ocean. These splendorous phases and transitions were captured musically by Antonio Vivaldi in his four violin concerto; each musically renders the characters of fall, winter, spring, and summer.
A modern day interpreter of the four seasons, Orna Lalo, founder of Ornal Lalo Treasures, is a world-famous jeweler. From a small town in Israel, Orna Lalo took up the study of fashion and design at the Shankar College of Fashion and Textile. After obtaining her training, she used her creative talents in both theater and interior decorating. Of course, she found her passion in the hand crafting of extraordinary jewelry. Orna Lalo creates jewelry out of resin, both opaque and translucent, an sometimes layered with lacquer. According to her philosophy as an artist, she creates jewelry in order to capture feelings, moments, and yearnings. Most importantly, she uses color to evoke happiness. Color for Orna Lalo elicits a sensual experience of sight, smell, touch, and taste. Her hope for Orna Lalo Treasures aficionados is to indulge in this experience as well.
Following in Vivaldi's footsteps, Lalo entitles each of her four season collections in Italian: Danza Pastorale or L'autono: autumn, L'inverno: winter, La Primavera: spring, and finally, L'estate: summer.
In the Orna Lalo Treasures Four Seasons collection, Danza Pastorale displays primarily opaque and lacquered colors: light blue, gray, black, and white. A unique pair of earrings is a wise owl. Other earrings feature gray and light blue leaves, an non-literal interpretation of the falling leaves of autumn.
L'Inverno adopts a color palette of silver, periwinkle, gray, sky blue, deep blue, white, and translucent. The geometric designs in this collection are teardrops, circles, and spheres.
Orna Lalo Treasures "La Primavera" comes to life with bright purple, lilac, and emerald green, representing to resurgence of flowers in the spring. The jewelry includes bouquets of flowers, single flowers, leaves, and abstract designs. For instance, one pair of earring includes three hanging flowers: light pink, pale purple, and deep purple.
Finally, Le'Estate bursts with red, turquoise, white, gold, black, and creamy orange. This collection contains many abstract shapes and flowers. See the full Orna Lalo Treasures Four Seasons Collection to see much more!
